DAMIEN BACARIS

Introduction

 

Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Damien Bacaris is an actor, musician, and writer in New York, NY.
He is currently writing the new musical Mirror, Mirror alongside Maytê Oom and working Six Flags Fright Fest 2022 in Jackson, NJ.

In 2017, he and his company of Godspell earned a spot on Newsday Long Island, covering the topic of LGBT+ inclusion in the youth theatre community. He has also performed in the cabaret shows “Bound For Broadway” at The West End Lounge and “The Comeback Cabaret” at Don’t Tell Mama, and worked three seasons at Blood Manor: New York’s Premier Haunted Attraction (as seen on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon).
In the July 2018 International Models & Talent Association (IMTA) Convention he placed in Top 5 for the Monologue and Singing competitions of males 17-21, where he was scouted to attend The New York Conservatory For Dramatic Arts. He graduated the Musical Theater program in May 2021 and spent the summer season at Camp Half-Blood Brooklyn.
